This is day 1 of a 2-day workshop to make beaded earrings with Llingít & Koyukon Athabascan artist Shanaskéi Lillian Jackson.  The workshop is 7 hours total, spanning four sessions in two days.  This class is in-person only at Sheldon Jackson Museum. There is no zoom option available.

Limited to 8 students, for ages 12 and older.

Participants must attend both days. The class is free, but there is a material expense. Students need to make a $35 check out to Lillian Jackson at the time of sign up. The artist will provide materials at the first session. In this four-part beaded earring class, Shanaskéi Lillian Jackson will teach how to make a pair of beaded earrings.

Shanaskéi Lillian Jackson is a Lingít & Koyukon Athabascan beader. She is the SJM Native Artist in Residence from September 24 – October 11, 2025.
