The Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum plays a vital role in supporting the free public programs that SJM offers to the community. Just in 2024, we were thrilled to support:
- 5 Native Artists in Residence
- 8 presenters in the Share Your Culture/Share Your Research series
- Purchase of a triptych carved my John Hoover for the museum collection
- Completion of the SJM Interpretive Plan
- Indigenous Peoples’ Day program
- Native American Heritage Month programming
