As part of the Alaska Native Artist Residency Program, artist Selina Alexander (Koyukon Athabascan) will offer a beginner Athabascan beading class at the Sheldon Jackson Museum on Wednesday, October 4th and Thursday, October 5th from 9:30 AM – 12 PM each day. During this class, each participant will be able to bead a pair of earrings.
The class will be in-person only and limited to under 10 students. The class is free of charge, but a $25 fee will apply towards the beading materials provided. The $25 should be paid via check to Alexander at the time of sign-up.
