As part of the Alaska Native Artist Residency Program, artist Selina Alexander (Koyukon Athabascan) will give an talk about learning her art forms on Thursday, September 28th from 2-3 pm. Selina’s art forms include beading, fur sewing, porcupine quill work, and caribou fur tufting, among others. This talk will also be simultaneously streamed on Zoom, with the recording uploaded afterwards to the Friends of SJM YouTube channel.
